I found the perfect Zentangle Tile Box at Goodwill!

I have read that a perfect Zentangle Tile holder is the old 3.5 floppy disk storage cases. Online they cost a lot because they people are tagging them “vintage”. You can find them occasionally in used goods stores. I was getting ready to buy one, but I first went over to paperboard boxes area and found a perfect Zentangle Tile storage box. It is a used Martha Stewart Crafts Ribbon Storage Box. The inner dimensions are just over 3.5″ x 3.5″ and the official tiles fit like they were made for it! Oh happy day! I also use Zentangle Apprentice Tiles and about 50 of them also fit sideways in the box with the lid closed.

About Me

Pegi Schargel is a business woman, an artist, and Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) trained by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, the founders of Zentangle®.

Schargel says she has been teaching for more years than she wishes to count. The importance of demonstration, patience, and listening was learned with some of her first students who were developmentally disabled. She then taught computer lab classes to K-5 students and her heart was won with endeavoring to become a lifelong learner and teacher.

Pegi is the co-owner of the Portland Walking Tours, Big Red Arrow, Hometown Advantage, and Run Brain Run companies in Portland Oregon and Seattle Washington. Although being a business woman is satisfying, it does not fulfill two of her constant yearnings… the desire to teach in a classroom-like setting, and the need for an outlet for free creative artistic expression. Do More Art fulfills those needs and today she meets these needs by creating art daily and sharing her love of Zentangle by teaching others. Let her show you how fulfilling art can be.
